Carl D. Freedman

Carl Freedman is a Senior Associate at Aegis Property Group as well as a registered architect who practiced for 25 years before joining Aegis. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie-Mellon University.

 

He has provided project management and owner’s representative services to Philadelphia institutions like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barnes Museum, and The Union League of Philadelphia; and has worked on assignments for senior living communities, public schools, hotels, higher education institutions, cultural institutions, and hospitals.

 

Professionally he is involved with the American Institute of Architects, Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, American Arbitration Association Construction Panel, and is a Montgomery County Certified Expert Witness. Personally he’s involved with the Cheltenham Township Planning Commission, Eastern PA Soccer Referee Association, and Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

 

Outside the office:

  • If he could meet anyone, it would be Leonardo da Vinci because da Vinci’s ability to combine the arts and sciences is intriguing
  • Favorite restaurant in Philly: Monk’s
  • Was a founding member of the George Gee Make Believe Ballroom Orchestra (which is still active today)
  • Preferred way to spend a Saturday: working on his house, he’s done several big projects and loves building and repairing things
