The Coriell Institute for Medical Research is an internationally recognized, not-for-profit, biomedical research institution founded in 1953. In support of its newest initiative Рthe Delaware Valley Personalized Medicine Project©, which is a forward thinking, joint effort involving patient volunteers, physicians, scientists, ethicists, and information technology experts whose goal is to better understand the coming impact of genome-informed medical practice and to guide its ethical, legal, and responsible implementation РCoriell did extensive phased renovations on two floors of their laboratory building, along with limited renovations on a third floor.

The development team included McGillin Architecture, Inc., AKF Engineers, and Irwin & Leighton (contractor).
