PIDC and Pennsylvania State University Energy Research Facility

Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), in cooperation with Penn State University retained Aegis Property Group to perform a Study of the potential build-to-suit development of an 116,000 s.f. facility that would support research, education, and commercialization activities in power and energy and advanced manufacturing. The facility will not only house energy related laboratory space, but will itself be uniquely designed and configured to enable it to function as an active laboratory providing constant feedback regarding its energy performance.

Aegis Role:

Aegis Property Group assembled a team of professionals to perform the study, including program development, evaluation of site location alternates and building configuration options, with related scope, budget and schedule deliverables.
