Virtua Moorestown
Virtua Health is undertaking the development of several major initiatives in New Jersey including a new health campus on a 125 acre site in Voorhees and three Ambulatory Care Centers in Voorhees, Washington Township, and Moorestown.
Virtua Health has entered into long-term leases with Frauenshuh Healthcare Real Estate Solutions for the development and leasing of these Ambulatory Care Centers.
The 187,000 s.f. Ambulatory Care Center facility in Moorestown will have immediate care/occupational health women’s center, IT space, fitness center, PT/OT services, café, retail, child care center, diabetes and nutritional, cardiac rehabilitation and conference center.
Base building construction is scheduled to start in summer 2010 and the Virtua fitout should begin in early 2011. Construction is scheduled to be complete in late 2011.
Aegis Role:
Aegis Property Group has been retained by Virtua to support its facilities team commencing with lease evaluation, management of the design and construction processes for Virtua’s interior and equipment fit-out and for preparing and managing the project budget and schedule. Additionally, Aegis has directly coordinated the process with the architect, Granary Associates; the medical equipment planner, RTKL; and the various Virtua user groups.
