Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications (LMGT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation provided global telecommunications services via land based and satellite based networks. LMGT’s Valley Forge, Pennsylvania office preleased a 136,000 s.f. build-to-suit facility where three local operations, including 500 employees, were consolidated. The new building included office space, telecommunications laboratories, computer rooms, cafeteria, fitness center and customer demonstration center. Groundbreaking occurred in September, 2000 with initial occupancy in August, 2001. The build-to-suit developer was Valley Forge Equities.
