NEWTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA
Lockheed Martin Astro Space Division developed the $75 million Communications and Power Center in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The company performs research, development and manufacturing of communications and power systems for telecommunications and research satellites in this 400,000 square foot complex. The facility includes electronic laboratory, environmental testing, clean room and office spaces. The development team included STV Group, Architect/Engineer and Turner Construction Company, Construction Manager. Groundbreaking occurred in April, 1996 and initial occupancy in July, 1997.
