PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - Drawing on its previous experience on similar projects with Lockheed Martin, Aegis Property Group's Project Management Team has been retained for comprehensive project management services on a new "build-to-suit" facility in Chantilly, VA. Lockheed Martin is expanding the presence of its Integrated Systems and Services business into this new high security, 143,000 square foot, six story office building. This is the second such building for Lockheed Martin on a three building campus located in Westfield Corporate Center in Chantilly, VA.

The land for this and a future third building, originally owned by Lockheed Martin, is currently under a Purchase/Sale and Lease Agreement with a private developer. Aegis assisted Lockheed Martin in its real estate analysis and the selection and negotiations with the developer. Aegis will provide Project Management oversight of the developer's design and construction of the core and shell of the office building along with direct management of the tenant improvement work, including furniture, telecommunications, security and relocation services. Aegis Property Group has supported Lockheed Martin since pre-development and pre-construction on this project. The two companies continue to work together in a relationship that has lasted more than 10 years.
