[ 10.2005 ]

Joined by local dignitaries and clients, Aegis Property Group celebrated its 25th anniversary at the prestigious Union League in Philadelphia on Thursday, September 29th. The commercial real estate company is in the midst of a five-year, $25 million renovation program on the Union League's historic building, the first phase of which is expected to be completed in November, 2005.

Kinzig thanked the company's partners and employees for their efforts over the years and pointed out some of the firm's accomplishments throughout the past quarter of a century. "We have worked on hundreds of fascinating projects over the years, including the development of the master plan for 30th Street Station with Amtrak and the creation of eight separate facilities totaling more than $250 million for Lockheed Martin in the Delaware Valley," said Kinzig.

"I'm looking forward to the bright future ahead of Aegis Property Group," continued Kinzig. "By selecting the right business opportunities, forging strong relationships with clients and maintaining a highly qualified and talented staff, I envision the next 25 years being just as successful as the first 25."

The Union League of Philadelphia is one of the nation's most historic private clubs. The League was founded in 1862 as a patriotic society to support the policies of President Abraham Lincoln. It has hosted U.S. presidents, heads of state, industrialists, entertainers and visiting dignitaries from around the globe. With its brick and brownstone façade and dramatic twin circular staircases leading to the main entrance, the House dates back to 1865, when the Broad Street building was completed. With approximately one-quarter million square feet of space, the building is spread out over eight floors and has entrances on all sides: North, South, East and West.
