Githens Center explores feasibility of expansion vs. relocation of current facilities

[ 05.15.2004 ]

MT. HOLLY, NEW JERSEY - AEGIS PROPERTY GROUP is pleased to announce that its Development Management Group has recently been retained by Githens Center to provide a feasibility study.

Githens Center (Burlington County Cerebral Palsy Association) is a non-profit service provider to individuals with disabilities and their families. Founded in 1951, under the leadership of Helen Githens, Githens Center provides a wide range of programs and services for its customers; many are complimentary to the core services of state-certified educational programs for ages 3-21, and adult day programs for ages 21 and over.

Although the current facility has provided many years of service; it has rapidly approached a condition where the quality of the physical complex affects the ability to deliver appropriate services on par with the current industry trends and in compliance with the governing rules and regulations.

In this context, Githens has retained AEGIS PROPERTY GROUP to provide a feasibility study which considers whether or not to renovate the existing facilities or to find an alternative location on which to develop a replacement facility. AEGIS PROPERTY GROUP has provided similar Development Management Services to owners and users of real estate since 1980.
